We may share aggregated data and metrics such as app usage with Exeter University so they can understand general usage patterns and efficacy and contribute to psychological research in this area.
All data is encrypted when transmitted or stored. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
You can request to delete your account and all the associated data at any time. Please see our and for more details.
The Iona for Ex-servicewomen app needs to store and process the information you input into it so that it can provide you with relevant information. Occasionally, we anonymously review this data to improve the app’s functionality and ensure it’s easy to use. For example, we review in-app user feedback and conversation completion rates to understand which features are most helpful to our users and which need to be improved. When reviewing we do not look at any identifying information such as email addresses.
